The Navy Pier Flyover construction continued progressing in May, with the installation of the steel bridge “spine” sections between Ohio Street Beach and Grand Avenue through Jane Addams Park. Construction crews also continued installing the steel sections adjacent to Ogden Slip.

In June, crews will continue completing the steel spine and ribs in Jane Addams Park and Ogden Slip, while additional sections are anticipated to be erected heading south from Grand Avenue toward Illinois Street.
