The construction of the steel bridge spine was the focal point of Navy Pier Flyover work in June. Construction crews continued making structural connections for the steel bridge spine sections that have been installed between Ohio Street Beach and Grand Avenue, as well as between Illinois Street and Ogden Slip.

The structural connections and the installation of ribs onto the spine sections that are currently in progress are anticipated to be completed in July, along with the installation of the next spine sections across Grand Avenue.

Information will be posted to the website if pedestrian or vehicular traffic impacts arise.
