Throughout February and March, construction moved swiftly and included significant progress toward the completion of stair structures near Ogden Slip and in Jane Addams Park, as well as the completion of sidewalks and driveways between Ogden Slip and Illinois Street. Additionally, an irrigation system was installed near Ogden Slip to prepare for final landscaping.

Work to complete the first section of the Navy Pier Flyover will continue in April and includes painting all remaining structural steel; installing remaining enclosure panels and signs on the stair structures; completing the color-changing lighting system of  Illinois Street and Grand Avenue; and the lighting on stair structures, landscaping and pavement markings.
