The Grand Avenue closures in the Navy Pier Flyover construction area, originally scheduled for the week of July 13, will now go into effect in late July.

Grand closures will include the eastbound lane for Lake Point Tower’s garage access, the southernmost westbound lane and the north sidewalk from the pedestrian island to the CTA bus stop. A detour for vehicular access to Lake Point Tower will be posted and garage access will be maintained.

Vehicles will continue using the two westbound lanes and right turn lane onto the North Lake Shore Drive ramp. Pedestrians will have access to the south sidewalk and can continue following the existing detour. The CTA bus stop will remain open.
