During November, all remaining columns were installed for the Navy Pier Flyover’s first phase of construction from Ogden Slip to Ohio Street Beach.

Retaining walls for the access ramps continued to be constructed, and the intersection of Grand Avenue and Lake Shore Drive was fully reopened to traffic.

Work anticipated for December includes further progress on the retaining walls near Ohio Street Beach, placing fill for the ramp near Ogden Slip, and the installation of the first sections of the bridge structure on the columns. New impacts to pedestrians and drivers are expected to be minimal.
