As final work on Phase I wraps up, Phase II of the Navy Pier Flyover construction project kicks off this week with the installation of construction fencing and temporary traffic control in the area adjacent to the Ogden Slip.

With this phase, pedestrians can expect temporary closure of the stairs connected to northbound Lower Lake Shore Drive. The path below Lake Shore Drive will also detour onto Illinois Avenue via the stairs and sidewalk bordering southbound Lower Lake Shore Drive as crews continue work on the elevated pedestrian bridge from the Ogden Slip to DuSable Park.
