With significant recent progress on the Navy Pier Flyover, including a majority of the bridge railing, enclosure and electrical systems, most of the LED light fixtures have been installed and the structure is almost completely painted. Installation of precast concrete treads on the stair structures is in progress. Much of the landscaping in Jane Addams Park and near Ogden Slip is completed, and installation of sidewalks in these areas is ongoing. Upcoming work for the rest of the year includes substantial completion of the entire structure between Ohio Street Beach and Ogden Slip, as well as the block retaining wall at Jane Addams Park and all sidewalks and landscaping.
