October construction activities have included placement of the final structural steel spine sections for this phase of work and installation of the ribs that will support the bridge deck.  Other work has consisted of preparing for concrete placement at the north and east access ramps, and installation of steel channels at the edges of the future bridge deck.

During November, it is anticipated that concrete will be placed for the north and east access ramps, as well as the bridge deck for the east access south of Illinois Street.  Work will continue welding the spine sections together, installing structural ribs, installing steel edge channels and framing for the bridge deck within Jane Addams Park.

Impacts to pedestrian and vehicular traffic patterns will continue to be posted on www.navypierflyover.com throughout the project.
